Current_tv and twitter have joined forces to create “Hack the Debate”, a live broadcast of the presidential debates with real-time feedback from viewers with twitter accounts.

Computers are putting the economy into the hands of an entire population.  Technology, for the “Google Generation“, has created a growing social sharing force that is motivated not by money, but for the sake of interest or meaning.

Yochai Benkler wrote a book called The Wealth Of Networks: How Social Production Transforms Markets and Freedom that you can download entirely for free [here].  I read The Wealth of Nations for my high school economics class, it was written by an American economist at the beginning of the industrial revolution.

  2. Good stuff, I actually tied this movie into a presentation I did for design drawing. I’ve been showing it to a lot of the people I know.
